Glenn Joins Forrester Research
Hi everyone,
It’s been far too long since I posted something here. I’ve been busy starting the next chapter in my life. I am proud to announce that as of May 5, 2008, I am a Senior Analyst at Forrester Research!
I am thrilled to join such a venerable organization! It is wonderful to return to a formal analyst position and I could not have landed at a better firm! It truly feels like home. My fellow “Forresterites” are a great bunch of people, the culture is warm, yet exciting, and the internal corporate structure around processes is truly impressive.
I am a member of the team serving Infrastructure and Operations professionals. My focus will be on all things involved with IT Operations, including ITIL/ITSM, management software, and special attention to CMDB, data center automation, and the whole configuration and change management world. There is a lot happening here right now and I hope to help shape the future of this world.
As for this blog, its future is uncertain. Until I fully understand the limits of my independence, I will post to the official Forrester Infrastructure and Operations blog and post links here each time I contribute an article to the Forrester blog. I will also post a notice each time I publish a more formal Forrester report. All of these will include links to the respective content. The Forrester blog is available to anyone. The reports are limited to paying Forrester clients (they need to make money to pay us!).
